I dunno what to set on Saturday!!!

I have some barnyard mixes I could do, but my EE are laying where I can't find the eggs. Have some layer flock Xs, or Iowa Blues. And I always have Norwegian Jaerhons to set. Wish I could find more EE eggs but haven't. Tho' I may crate them overnight and hope for a couple green eggs tomorrow!!! Missed the goose egg date but have 2 Pilgrim eggs sitting on my counter now too. <sigh>

Any suggestions? Sometimes I just want to be told what to do!

Got my Maran eggs today! I think the driver just threw them onto my porch though. They were laying on their side with a corner caved in. :/ 1 egg cracked but they sent 2 extra. Fingers crossed! Thanks again @bwalden!

I stuck a leghorn egg in there for a color comparison. Aren't they gorgeous?!

I would if I could but I only have 1 Mini Eco open for Sat!!!! Have 4 NJs in the other that won't hatch till Tues because I can't read a calendar. And my IncuKit project/build my own bator hasn't made much progress yet. <sigh> Maybe I can slap it in a big styrofoam cooler I scored from work yesterday.... Need some plexiglass and sealant... hmmm.... Still wouldn't be enough space for all of them! I need one of those pretty cabinet thingies!! Or to finish my bator projects. Work is soooo getting in my way on that!

Dilemma....I was planning this time on using just my 42 egg cheapie TSC model, but maybe I will also set up my Brinsea to test the hatch rates of each. Last time, the cheapie won, with about an 80% rate! and the Brinsea got about 50%, but I feel I ought to give my Brinsea another chance. Everyone says it's the better incubator.
I don't want to have an unfair bias without multiple tests.

I was just telling my daughter that our motto is SET ALL THE EGGS - yes, screaming! Lol. She thinks I'm nuts and y'all are all nuts too. But I know she's secretly excited about fuzzy butts.

More bator space is always better than less. So of course you must run both!

I have the farmers innovator from TSC it that's what your calling the cheapie, I think its a great bator for hatching! I love the cheapness...LOL

mine has had 100% success with hatches, if you forget about all the unfertiles I tried setting...haha lets see how it does this time with shipped eggs!
ANYWAY I would go with the TSC bator.
