OH! So sorry to hear about our rooster. Is he the one that was with the Barnies fee weeks back?I wasn't going to.................said I would only hatch under a broody...............then a predator got one of my males...............and I want offspring from him, because he was my top male...................still said I wasn't going to...............but.....................I set 23 Welsummer eggs. And yes, I took 2 out of the fridge, cuz they were pretty, as you can see in the picture.![]()
It wasn't my fault, someone twisted my arm - had a gun to my head - the Easter Bunny made me do it. It's a fertility test, yeah, that's it. And they are too pretty to eat. Think my DH will buy it?
Direct sunlight, getting ready to go in the Brinsea.
This picture shows their color more correctly.

You need to ask? OF COURSE YOU SHOULD!Should I add the 21 eggs I have collected? Hmmmmm, I can't decide.
Details, details, details....I added 14 more chicken eggs. The rest were duck and won't hatch in time for the hatchalong.
I added chocolate bantam orps, swedish flowers, ohiki, and chocolate cochin project eggs.
I have this same one too. I had to set the digital at 103 to get it to actually stay at 99-100 at the top of the eggs. I use one of the thermometers that she has inside the bator and that is the one I rely on most. I have used it for several other bators and it is the most consistent the built in ones just seem way off to me.
