I got some pine today in town :)

:thumbsup

I have a dilemma......I have both incubators full, can probably move everything I have into my Coolerbator for lockdown freeing up my brinsea but I also have around 30ish eggs coming in the mail next week....going to be hard to squeeze them into the brinsea AND I found this: !!!!
700

My two call ducks' stash! Neither apparently seem interested in actually sitting on them...so I was going to stuff them into the bator but then I remembered I have all these other eggs coming! What a tragedy! I can't just let them go to waste! What to do what to do.....

When do the other eggs come? Maybe you'll have enough clears you'll still have room for all of them...

Love those pictures!

What day is hatch day for everyone? :jumpy

My hatch day is Friday.

My hatch day is Friday too. Except for the Seramas I put in later. They will be Monday if any of them make it. They had a very rough trip here.

Hatch set for Friday but my family wants us to come visit on Saturday (across the state so all day event) and I'm already stressing that something will go wrong while I'm gone. Probably the last time I set eggs for a holiday hatch (even though we don't actually, technically celebrate the holiday). I'm still pushing for a different date to get together but so far no one is sympathizing with my position.

So for people who set their eggs on Saturday March 14th at noon, hatch day should be Saturday right? (of course there could be early pippers)

What about lockdown? Should it be between noon Wednesday to noon Thursday or noon Tuesday to noon Wednesday?

I don't see why they should need to be tweeked (although I know it happens). You would think the thermostats would do their job.
I was paying more attention to this hatch and just realized they feel heavier when they are close to hatch. Maybe it's just me bit they seem to have a more substantial feel to them. My patience is starting to wear on me already and I want to see these babies NOW. Ugh, now im seeing the Heinz ketchup commercial in my head!
I too notice a more heavy feeling when picking up an egg with an embryo in it.

Ok, hatchaholic buddies, DH may have been informed of my next hatch plans. I've got my eyes on the five-year-old DS. That sweet face and innocent eyes,

and honest to a fault. But, he loves his Momma and could never betray her. No, couldn't have been him. Maybe the middle boy. You have to watch out for those middle kids. Wait, it couldn't have been him. That precious boy has a one track mind and everything else gets forgotten.

At the moment that brilliant mind is guitar focused. Nope, not him. That only leaves the oldest DS. Oh, but it couldn't have been him. He has a poker face that even top government agencies couldn't crack.

I just can't figure out who snitched on me. I couldn't have done it. It's not like I left an ever overflowing carton of eggs sitting out on the counter, with a sign that says "to touch these eggs risks the Wrath of Mom!" I mean really... It's not like the now 33 beautiful, pristine, marked, and labeled eggs sitting on the counter is an uncommon sight. And those two jumbo eggs from our new hen...

...

I should really find a better spot to "hide" those hatching eggs.

So, I have an update on my possibly fried eggs. I tossed a quitter last night. Veins were completely gone and it was an EE. I checked for veins in the rest of them and all seems well.

Cutie!

Candled tonight and I'm down to 14. 9 out of 12 from our local school and 5 out of 10 on my mix of Marans. Really hoping they all hatch, but we will see!
I need more coffee. I read that as 14.9 out of 12 and I was like, what? I had to read it 3 times before I got it right.

My hatch day is Friday.
Monday for me, but mine usually hatch a bit early, so probably Sunday.
