Happy Easter!
Hatch is going okay so far. I ran into a couple issues that I though you guys might be able to help me with.
I have 6 chicks that hatched out perfectly fine, no issues during zip or anything. However I have atleast 4 (possibly more) that piped and then died in their shell. That is the most I have ever had. I have had one before, but usually I don't get any. What could be the cause of this? Humidity is around 65%-70% temp is between 99-100. Could it possibly be bad genes from the breeder that could cause this? Possibly low temperature during incubation itself?
Anyone else have any ideas?
As I took one out, I noticed a single, tiny pip, so I put it back & grabbed another one to candle.Try doing a float test. Inspect them carefully first and make sure there are no tiny pips.

It looked like it may have a shadow above the air cell line. (Hard to tell since it's daylight.) No movement that I could see. I popped it back in & will wait.
