It's pretty cool, an egg I have is right up against the plastic, and I can shine my light right through and see the veining without opening the bator!

From the perspective of a nurse... Concussions are long lasting injuries because the hematoma (blood leak) will take time to reabsorb. 3 days isnt that long I would continue to seclude her and only time will tell if this is a permanent condition or something that will pass over time. The promising thing is that she has survived this long. Keep up the good work.Hey guys, i need help my 1 month old chicken got pecked in the head by my ducks and had a small swollen bump, I separated her for three days and now she is walking weird. She is stumbling over her feet and isn't standing up straight like the other two chicks. She seems like she has no balance. She is otherwise healthy and active. I sat her on my knee and she just kept flapping her wings, to keep balance. I don't know if it is from the duck pecking her or if her legs grew wrong? She is healthy and walking, just stumbling over herself. Thank you in advance and please message me I don't want my post to be lostany suggestions are much appreciated

The injury is on the brain--you would not see it.Thank you, the peck on her head wasn't that bad, and I separated her as soon as i saw it, it dried and was gone within several hours, I am definitely gonna get her some probiotics and electrolytes next time I'm in town though. I'm glad she is still walking and eating, just stumbling over herself. Thank you again![]()
