Of the six that hatched all were white no spots. Two were Roos and one hen escaped when she was very young. Never did catch her but I'm certain something did. Roos are gone.
I just wanted to say hello y'all! I'm gonna join the thread just for fun,as of now. And hopefully one or more of my young girls will go broody and then I can have egglets too!!!!!! Here's for hoping!!! I'm excited for everyone here who's looking forward to fur babies. I'm praying that each egg hatch without issues and that each baby is healthy! Thanks for letting be be a part of the family! God bless,Glory
I am hoping to have some of my own Black Penedesenca eggs to hatch for the HAL. But currently only 1 of the 2 pullets is laying. They both were for a while, but when I had to move one of the pullet/cockerel pair, the pullet quit laying. She had been laying for a couple of months! I think her new location gets less sun because the coop is facing 90 degrees in a different direction & there isn't any electricity, so I am having to be patient.
I always have a leghorn in my flock..except now. I just placed her because I have so many that started laying. I miss those big white eggs every single day!
