Mine have been ludicrously slow to get back into gear. I got 4 eggs yesterday, and that was a huge improvement.

Are you wondering if this thing is for real?

We wondered the same thing, incredulous that chickens could actually enjoy swinging.
We thought it was just a glorified roosting pole. We're happy to say that we were wrong!

That's pretty good! My ducks are slow to start and it's the first laying season for all but one hen. I have 9 hens and getting 1-2 eggs/day right now. Just started a practice run for the easter hatch-a-long with my new bator.

Is that cheese cloth over the grates? I know some use it for easy clean-up. How does it affect the chicks walking, as in nails getting caught in it? That's a nice batch of eggs you have! [IMG][IMG][IMG]
