The 7th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-A-Long!

Oh they are adorable. I love the Silver Penciled pattern.

I have no idea how that will come out with the Sapphire as a mom (Crested Cream Legbar x White Leghorn). Tizzy (because she is high strung) has the scattered gray feathers in the white. But when you put her in bright sunlight you can see other feathers are pale yellow like lemonade and also scattered.

This sounds like they might make for a pretty color/pattern for the chicks to be. I hope if any hatch you share the pics with us, I would live to see what they look like.

Ugh I don't think I will have anything to hatch for the hatch along... I will try, but I don't know if it will happen. The Icelandic chickens aren't laying so she won't be able to send me some til Atleast e me of March, and the only thing I will have are showgirls, which isn't bad, but not everything I wanted... Sadly..

And..what is wrong with SG's?!? I love love them! I love seeing baby photos of them! Hatch some .. I want to see!

I'm getting happy. 12 alive 1 DIE (died in egg) that leaves 17 eggs that should be today/ tomorrow as day 21... Staggered hatch is interesting. First time for me.

Hatching day finally arrived. 7 chicks out,7 more to go.

Hubby's knee has a piece that broke loose inside it last week...the cartilage in the knee is slowly being damaged over time. He's being sent for an MRI and possibly surgery again (3rd time). Worse thing is he always gets pulmonary emboli (blood clots in the lung...twice already.)

. 'Cause I need more chicken coops!!
