No never any illness that I was aware of. I never really considered comb/wattle removal, though it might make sense for some people in some climates. I keep telling myself to switch to a breed that is rose comb or cushion comb, but single comb birds appeal to me, so I haven't gotten their yet.nite lisa, heading to the incu thread lol![]()
did you have any issues with illness during the comb loss? I am thinking about taking the combs and wattles off when I hatch for growouts... have you ever thought of doing that with chicks?
