Has anyone ever had a "fake" bloodring? I have a naked neck egg in my bator and it has half a blood ring, and the embryo is still moving! What's going on?

I guess it could just be a vein?

That's definitely a possibility, but it's not that big and it's a lot darker (almost black). I'll take a picture of it when I get home.

I have two with blood rings. One has a embryo but I didn't stare at it long enough to see if it moves. Left it in for now just in case. IDK?

I have other that have blood rings, and the veins have mostly cleared up and they have stopped moving. I'll just leave it in till day 14 and see how it does.

It's not that the dogs are barking, it's the type of barking! It's like this piercing shriekish bark. The dogs look kind of like Dobermans. Do those dogs have a shrieky bark? I'm going to try to record them barking on my phone and see if I can send you the audio. They sound like Hell beasts! 

My neighbor across the street has 3-4 medium dogs and they bark a lot, but it doesn't bother me. I have a black lab and a pug. They both bark at people walking by, but when they're outside we're always with them so we re-direct them quickly. Listening to dogs is a part of having neighbors. I don't normally think it's a big deal, it's just these two obnoxious dogs that put me over the edge.

Ohhh that makes sense, sorry my post was so long amd rambly and if it seemed like i was defensive or anything, I wasn't at all lol but ya

But oh wow, I can see how those dogs would be annoying!

I hate dogs with yappy or high pitched or just ugly barks LOL

I mean, I love all dogs but wouldn't live with those lol

One timethere was a dog barking and our dog got into a barking war and my mom was like God what is that? Our dog sounds like Elvis compared to that dog

I would love audio or maybe a picture?

I thought dobermans had deep barks but maybe not.

Could they be hounds or at least hound mixes? I thought only hounds did that baying but I might be ignorant lol

How big are they?

If you can get a picture of them, I might be able to tell the breed, I'm pretty good at that stuff.

I live in a Valley.  Every single city that surrounds us, allows roosters.  It's just there are mountains between us.  The ENTIRE valley used to be all farms.  I have been trying to find out WHEN roosters were banned.  I give 90% of the roosters to the local feed stations.  
The neighbor's with the yappy dogs are the LAST house down the side of our property. Directly across from the chickens.  It's a pretty steep hill, so their roof is below our property line.  They are moderate hoarders.  They have junk piled all down the side of the house, in their backyard and all we can see inside the back slider is piles and piles of stuff - floor to ceiling.  They have the 7 or 8 yappers, (that keep digging in to my yard and harassing my chickens).  Last time I caught one, the teen that lives there told me they just had 10 puppies.....

Oh joy.....

Oh gosh, I hate people like that and the ones who just leave them outside 24/7, why even have a dog? Are these at least fed and vetted?

These dogs all look healthy. They are inside quite a bit of the day. It's when they are outside, and anyone is working in our yard they get crazy. They also have figure out every flaw in our fencing, and keep finding ways into our yard. My tenants have a big dopey kind of dog - I think it's part Great Dane - we just turn him loose and say' get the puppy, and he will happily chase the animal back over to whoever asked him to fetch. All their dogs are mini border collies - i think they said.

And hmm maybe mini Australian Shepherds (Aussies)? I didn't think they had mini border collies but I could be wrong, they have mini everything now lol

But those are pretty big to have that many in one house, I thought maybe they had like chihuahuas or something lol
