I use the 30 minute feature - I don't think I could go 2 hours, but maybe 90 minutes?

It depends on the size of the eggs. One hour for small ones and two hours for bigger eggs. Duck eggs size would be two fro sure. Banty and smaller large fowl chicken eggs would be one.

Instead of doing the cooling period i just take the cover off for about 5 to 10 minutes in the morning

If only I needed 8 more chicks, our TSC store has the buy 6 get 2 free sale too lol and they have orpingtons, australorps, and bantams and a few silkies. And they have 8 older Orpingtons so it would have been perfect, i could have saved them. But I also already have 3 Buff Orps and if I was going to get more, I would want a different color LOL

So that's all of them and the total hatched for me is 18.

Ha, he's from a small breed too The smallest domestic breed, in fact. He hatched on his own aside from a safety hole, which I always put in because I've had too many block off their air when zipping and die.

It often happens that I get so busy answering questions an posts that I forget to post my Stuff!

I hatched 15 Pita Pintas(14 in the picture)



And 14 Delawares(not all in the picture)



29 hatched out of 39 set. 36 were fertile and made it to lockdown

That's the longest I can do it since that's about how long I'm in the house after doing chores before I have to leave for school. I'm only awake and in the house for less then 2 hours most days. And about 20 minutes of that is showering and brushing hair and 30 minutes is supper

. The other hour is usually cleaning stuff and homework.
