Quote: Not all of mine like to be picked up. They're individuals, I respect that. As long as they're not nasty or crazy wild and causing panic among the rest, they're good. I have a couple from the last few EE chicks I bought in 2015 that don't me to touch them. Now that they're close to being 2, they've settled down and I can collect the eggs from under them without them jumping out of the nest boxes.
Those sneaky broodies! I keep putting mine across on to the other side, and more keep turning on...lol. I pet them too, and a lot of the time I lift them up or out of the nest. They hog all my nests. When I gather eggs I usually find one or two in the nest boxes I'll pet them it gives me a good idea as to wether they are tending to go broody on me or not![]()

If you don't have any frizzles than the chick cannot be frizzled. He definitely doesn't look frizzled to me. Sorry! I have no idea what his color is lol. You may have to wait until he's grown before you know.
I have four other roosters and he is the alpha soooo. But he does have a beautiful voice, lol.I love this! I want a rooster like this, now tell me he doesn't crow often, or too loud.
