Oh, there's no way I am going to buy all of those chicks (unfortunately ).
I'll probably just end up hatching my own eggs for cheaps

I'm too late for these to count for the HAL, but I will be setting three emu eggs today:

I'll try to set some eggs that will count for the HAL later. Hopefully some geese and maybe some Call ducks.

stuck putting them in early from the hatch a long

I plan on joining.... I was hoping to find some Turkey or Guinea eggs to hatch for the Easter Hatch a long. I can not find them available any of the places I have looked. Going to have to look for some chicken eggs to put in instead. I'm leaning towards orpingtons

He's working on it lol and seems even more excited about it than me.

I'm fine with my styrobator for the hatch but he's got some crazy dreams of finishing in time. If so it will be our first attempt at hatching in the build.

...he hasn't thought enough about the number of eggs it will hold clearly because I can get myself into trouble hatching that many birds. LoL

Those are both seasonal layers, they should be starting soon, so you might be able to find some closer to the set date.
