Well very unhappy with the size of eggs from my ameracauna beautiful birds but real tiny
eggs so have decided keep 1 cockerel and the one that would like to be broody other 2 pullet both banty pullets from main coop and one home grown no body want to roost with all to auction maybe this coming Saturday

I don’t have to worry about staying with a standard color and they are so stinking cute! They colors that I got from last springs hatches are nothing like the colors of their parents. My roosters from those hatches were my Lemondrop, a BO/leghorn mix and Peter Pan (Australorp/BR) over TSC EEs.
These are some of the clean faced girls.

Help! I got my chocolate orp eggs but these look awfully like Maran eggs. What do you guys think? I’m contacting the breeder but she hasn’t answered yet. Thanks! Either way I like both breeds. But I really wanted some chocolate orpingtons in the backyard.

Ps: sorry if the pic is a little hazy, I was in a rush.
Did some looking around on the net..I guess they do look a bit dark. Interested in what the seller says.....

Interesting my lavender amercauna cockerel bred to my EE and OE will produce black I have 8 black birds now all different shades all about the same size lay extra large eggs daily all great friendly birds
