I was supposed to set my eggs today, but the PO sent them to the wrong place.
But I got it all sorted and will get them tomorrow morning, and will set them Sunday. I can’t wait!!

Some of mine are just testing fertility. I’m sure I know which rooster I’m keeping but this will tell if he’s going to cut it.

I set 18 guinea eggs today at 5:15. Trying to use that new bator i am not impressed so far. Hope they hatch!

I hope the bator works out!

I couldn’t wait any longer so I set my eggs today. There are 42 total. It’s a mix of BCM, Wellsummer, Barnvelders, Leghorn, and EE. My rooster is an Ameraucana so any that hatch would be OE or EE.

Hey y'all I set 24 Cayuga and Cayuga x Buff eggs this past Sunday. I didn't even realize they are scheduled to hatch on Easter until my mom pointed it out! I'm so proud of my girls this year for laying these wonderfully dark eggs!

Incubators are warming up, eggs are ready. Now the excitement begins.

I have some eggs pipping that I bought off line. . before I knew how well this rooster would work out. First one to pip...wrong end. But it's gotten bigger since its pipped. It was tiny to start with. You never know with those. Hope it makes it.

One goose egg has hatched and the other 2 have a lot of movement so I’m hoping they survive

One of the fastest zips ever! Had one hatch about 20 mins after looking at it, still same pip. I just thought one of the pipped ones was screaming. There was what I thought to be a black chick. It's blue. Yaay! I wanted a blue.

I got a little carried away in obtaining eggs for this hatch along, and even had to warm up my back up incubator. My daugter and will be setting

I’m if it’s not too late! I’ve got 20 Easter/olive Eggers going in tomorrow. Could be a mixture of “turken Eggers” as well.

What breed is your chick?

These are just barnyard mix. She has blue EE's. An EE roo, and a New Hampshire roo. Legorns, that have been breed with the EE. That should give me some SBEL's..if I get a girl.. that had the EE.. for a dad.

4 babies so far. I went ahead and helped the one that was pipped at the wrong end. Decided to after the first one hatched. The wrong end one had been pipped way before the one that hatched. Every thing was absorbed! It's doing pretty good. Lazy from not hatching on its own, but getting up on those wobbly legs every now and again.
