The 9th Annual BYC Easter Hatchalong!

Good news! Brinsea answered my question. She said the capacity was 1560 grams...... Now I just need to weigh all the eggs to find out if I am maxed out yet!
Thank you. That’s on the Brinsea 20 correct?

Taking an average of mine I usually have 3 and 3/4 eggs too many. No wonder the turner clicks. Will weigh basket empty next time then weigh it full.

We plan on Saturday, but give +/- 2 days leeway for the contests. A lot of people go out of town on Easter, so we want them to be included too!

Looks like 12 beautiful eggs to me.

If it is a hovabator with turner, it holds 42 eggs..........unless you stack them of course.

:woot

What does a white peahen look like?

Nope, not too late!

Yeppers! Welcome!

But they are oh so beautiful!

You are good! Welcome!

White Peahen looks like the one on the left:

Good idea to weigh the whole basket instead, much faster. I guess when you cull clears or quitters the turner may improve......

Hello, first time doing the Easter hatchalong. Set 12 eggs Fri eve-- hoping for hatch on 3/31 when fam is here. Speckled Sussex X Cochin, Wyandotte, California White, and Red Sex Link. Love the new ornamental breeds I got last summer but boy are the eggs ever small! Calif White & Red Sex Link lay nice sized eggs. Using still air cheapo incubator. Have hatched before and humidity was an issue. Enjoying all the great advice on this thread!
