The 9th Annual BYC Easter Hatchalong!

I give them some water--dip the beak and a drop of poli vi sol baby drops without iron. I give them a day usually to see if they are doing better...because they fought hard to live that long. It is a 50% thing though.
I made a solution of pro-biotics, vitamins & electrolytes, vitimin B and trace of nutridrench. Plunged into a water bottle cap and dip it's beak in periodic intervals of 20ish mins. I have a lock down on another oven in 2 days and another soon after. Spring sales. I'm cleaning and prepping the dirty oven right now.
Chores keep you young.. At least on the inside:lau
By June things will slow down chicken wise. But that's Piggy season. Pigs in the Summer, Goats in the Winter & Chicks in the Spring - these are just a few of my favorite bill paying things..

How did the baby do? :fl

I have a hen who started sitting in eggs maybe four days ago, quit keeping tracking, actually never started. But,it hasn’t been over six days atleast and I decided instead of letting her hatch just three eggs, why not let her hatch two or three more,However is it too late? Will it take them extra days to hatch,do you guys think she will quit by the time her three are hatched?

Go for it! 3 days apart isn't bad. Often the slower eggies will catch up, and mom will sit a few days after the first peeper to hatch to give the rest time. I wouldn't put them together more than a few days apart though.
