Chicken Run
Mrs. Chickendad is thinking of changing Hot Shots name to David, as in David and Goliath. Hot Shot was out busily pestering the other Little Boys who were penned up, when he decided to take on Goliath, . . . er . . . Walter. Walters head comes well above Mrs. Chickendads knee and Hot Shot is all of a pound and a half. It was not a fair fight. Walter, now that he is the Main Man Chicken, chased little Hot Shot all the way back behind the barn. Hot Shot spent the rest of the afternoon patrolling the compost pile back there and keeping an eye out for Walter.
It was threatening rain, so Chickendad decided to move the bantam rock couple from Daycare back to the Honeymoon Hotel. Walter decided to help. The Little Boy slipped through the fence and ran around the yard with Big Walter in hot pursuit. Walter was gaining on him enough to grab a couple mouthfuls of his beautiful rooster tail before Mrs. Chickendad got hold of Walter and Chickendad saved little Rocky. For a turkey sized bird, Walter can really move. Unfortunately, the Chickendads cannot.
