He’s SO pretty. Legs are super dark slate gray…so gorgeous. Ugh

Hello everyone! I wanted to start a thread where you can show off, learn about, or teach others about ameraucanas. I don’t own this breed… yet, but I have 3 eggs in the incubator! Your birds must be true Ameraucanas only! If you are not sure you are welcome to ask!

I have 3 year-old blue Ameraucanas I bought from a breeder — a rooster and 2 hens. From December to mid-March they laid no eggs. Finally the 2 hens began laying pretty, blue eggs every other day. The rooster isn’t great; he’s mean to my 18 hens. I may end up selling him.
