Thanks Pyxis. That makes a little more sense. Probably good to get that hen out of a breeding program if she has the leghorn comb anyway. People will do what they want with the birds they get, regardless of what they say. I think that cjwaldon is right that the work of serious breeders will stand the test of time. It's really tough to make any money w chickens, especially if u do everything right. Going into it just out to make a buck is bound to backfire.
