Hi! This is my bird.. The white holland at 2013 Pa Farm Show. My email is [email protected]. My daugther and I hatched this bird out, learning to use the incubator. We cross a Barred Plymouth Rock with Rhode Island Red and Leghorn hens. When we exhibited these birds in NY at day shows they did well. (They were younger.) My daughter even sold our best hen to a man for 10 dollars. I am not sure why the judge disqualified them. The coloring needs work. We have a cock and 2 hens. I also have 3 young pullets we hatched from them that are better. Not sure how long we will stick to these birds, we have many more breeds.

I am sure the DQ was for the color. I think it's awesome that you all tried and entered them no matter what. And that you bred them yourselves.

much brighter white. I am so hoping for her to lay white eggs. She is six weeks old. If I get a chance I will put up pictures to see what you all think.

Thanks and yes we do! WCB Polish and many more! Poultry is just to beautiful to have one breed.

I know these birds are dirty. Its cold and I didnt want them to get sick. We will be cleaning them up in the next few weeks. And then we will post more pictures.

I would say this pullet is 11 -12 weeks old. October hatch.
