I have twenty one at the moment - (and a very crazy Guinea hen!) How many would you want as your ideal flock?

quite a few about 17? I would like 2 roosters and 15 hens

Yeah! Ha ha. That sounds like a great amount for a flock! I started with nine but then I started learning about more breeds... Lol, that's how I got to twenty one!! I have one rooster at the moment, the most I had was four... One passed from old age while the other two where a bit obnoxious so we gave them away. But I'm waiting to see what the genders are of my youngest pullets/cockerels! I'd like another rooster.
