My most recent poultry pic...this strange salmon faverolles egg that has its air cell on the side and a very dark spot where the air cell should be (which you can see at this angle). For the curious, I just candled this egg again last night and it is still kickin'!

Next: chicks, ducklings or other baby poultry that you or your mama bird hatched!

My OEGBs that I hatched last year were pretty sure I was their mama bird. They were always cuddling under my hand like chicks do with a broody hen. ❤

How about a freshly hatched chick, like before it's dried off from hatching? Doesn't necessarily have to be a chicken chick, either.
