One year we got keets at the feed store and there was one w a bad leg that they didn't want and we offered to take it. She turned out fine and we named her Gimpy.

Well, this picture makes me giggle every time I see it. Between Umru and Endymion's faces up front, and Flury's big fluffy butt in the background... (They were young, by the way. 8 weeks old, if I remember correctly. Umru was not injured or anything, he just took forever to feather in )

Next hunt, how about a completely black-and-white bird that's not a Barred Rock or a Silver Laced Wyandotte.
