Thank you so much! :celebrate

The chicken on the last picture is Felizia. Unfortunately we had yo give her to a friend's flock recently because she was plucking and bullying our other girls. :(

Looking forward to your next photo contest! :)

No problem! :)

She was very pretty, I am sorry that you had to give her away. But when it comes to one being aggressive, I understand. It's not fun to have an aggressive flock member. :)

Thank you! I am looking forward to your entry. :)

Okay everybody! I scrolled through the entries and, granted, there were not many, I decided to announce the winners. Thank you guys for entering! I really do appreciate it and your brids are beautiful. I truly admire the photo's background and main characters. ;)

First place, is: @Wolfgang B.! Goodness, I love the backgrounds to the photos. What greatly thought out! They are very well-kept birds! (Great names too!) The last photo is the first place winner. Please forgive me for being unsure, but which hen was in the last photo? Very nice stance. :)

And second place, is: @RiverStorm! Tiny is so precious and I just love her colors and adorable face. The first photo is remarkably clear! Thank you, River, for you entries.

And I just love the names of your hens, @Tlmcq! They are such pretty hens. I love Bright Eyes, what a pretty Dark Brahma! (I'm a sucker for Brahma's, I have three Buff's of my own!)

SO thanks for the entries! Please keep your eyes open for my next contests (of which I'll start soon!) Looking forward to seeing more of your flock members in more contests to come!

Have a good night and God bless.
Thanks K!

Thanks @The Angry Hen. I am partial to Brahmas also...Bright Eyes is my favorite...she is so sweet, but has eyes that make her look mad all the time...lol. I want some Buffs, maybe this coming Spring I will find some. I have 2 dark hens and a light Roo.

No problem! Aw, lol! That sure gives her character though. :)
You should get some Buff's! I always like the light ones. I have a Buff/Delaware/Dorking that looks exactly like a light Brahma... And he isn't fully grown yet. :D

Hey there!
Sorry, this particular contest is officially closed. But you have beautiful birds! I really like Faverolle's. Tell me, do you have any secrets to keeping their beards so clean and fluffy?
I have yet to accomplish that task...

I am going to make a Faverolle contest. When it is made, would you like me to send you the link? I'd be glad for you to enter. Thank you!
P.S. Welcome to BYC, it's a pleasure to have you. Make yourself at "roost". ;)

I would love to participate! And a link would be great! I think the reason their beards are so clean might be because they're so young, however one of my Faverolles has a pretty dirty beard so they might all follow in its footsteps soon.

Thank you, I am glad you'd be pleased to join. I actually just made the series! Here you go, thank you for being interested: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/the-official-faverolle-series.1206765/

Ah, yes, I agree that when they are younger they tend to be a bit neater. One thing that might help with the concept is the nipple waterers. I'd like to look into hooking one up in the Faverolle's coop. Food for thought. :)
