Ice Princes bent her head and spoke briefly to Sitka as she passed.

"What are you talking about?" Race asked, "Things concerning Wind's daughter should be told openly in front of Wind or the council."

Sitka answered before Ice Princess could, sounding puzzled "She just said I was brave, why would the council want to know that?"

Ice Princess look surprised that Sitka had spoken so quickly, and chuckled lightly.

Lightning was watching nonchalantly from the Great Rock. Her tail streamed out behind her, her forelock being blown to one side. Her black coat was in the focus of the sun, casting a green sheen to her coat. She stood in the lee of the autumn wind, where the colored leaves fell from the trees and drifted on the wind, never to be seen again.
