Rose grazed near the chating horses. Her bright red roan coat, outstanding the others.

Fire, this is my mate and lead stallion, Wind. Wind, this is Fire Magic, my brother. Have you met Foxvalley Oliver yet, Wind?" Lightning smiled.

"I am quite pleased to meet you, Fire. And I have not properly met Foxvalley Oliver yet." He nuzzled her.

"Ol Fox..." Fire sighed, "He never, I mean, doesn't really seemed to... er... associate.... with horses..." Fire stammered, looking nervous around Lightning, remembering that she didn't know Foxvalley Oliver was her brother.

"I've been known for running, jumping, also concidered intellegent by my father, before... Ma... killed him... and abandoned... Lightning... when she... was... born..." His voice went raspy, and tears formed at the side of his eyes. Lightning hung her head, tears forming too, remembering her painful past.

I loved my sister the moment she was born, I helped her stand, and Pa smiled at me then said 'Son, you have a new sister!' then Ma said to Pa that she didn't want her, then Pa struck a hoof out and Ma's face and she killed him, Ma scared us away, me, Providence, Legacy and... nevermind. Then she left Lightning all alone. Providence and Legacy disappeared, we don't know where they are, and I searched for Lightning all my life. Just thinking about Pa makes it hurt. I'm sorry, its my fault."
