"What's wrong, darling?" Wind asked as he paused the meeting.

"Nothing."

Jay hauled himself to his feet, his legs healed enough to stand at least. He peered out over top of the rock in the doorway, watching Lightning and Wind.

Arctic Dragon whispered something in Wind's ear. Wind nodded and whispered something back. Dragon walked away, murmuring something to the other stallions.

Jay watched them from behind the boulder, his eyes cool and calculating, taking everything in.

The guard looked at Jay angrily.

Jay felt his gaze on the back of his head, but ignored him.

"Get back, rebel." The guard said darkly.

 

[HollyBird24]

Jay rolled his eyes with a low chuckle, but stepped back.

 

[LittleLady98]

The guard muttered a curse under his breath as he turned his attention to the guard who had come for the next shift.

"Keep an eye on the rebel, he can stand again." He informed the new guard.

"Will do." The new guard muttered.

"No, really?" Jay sneered sarcasticly.
