I forgot to tell you that the reason (other than the truck was already full) the 2 lavenders weren't at the swap was because one of them is now setting on eggs

...and don't forget with the lavenders, you also have to deal with feather quality.

the lavs try my patience

and take a LOT of space!

My orps LF or bantam have yet to ever go broody..

In my LF Black Orp pen...I have three hens that only want to be mommas

This is their last chance before fall shows so I am letting them all be broody.

My Bantam orps have never ever even pretended to be broody
