Update on the hatch.

5 out of the 7 BC eggs ended up hatching. Here they are! Only three of them have names so far: the dark one all the way to the left is named Pippa, the dark one in the middle is named Starbee, and the dark one all the way to the right is named Corn Dog. My favorites right now are the two unnamed ones and Starbee.

All of our own barnyard mix eggs hatched(2 olive eggers, 1 moss egger, 1 easter egger, and 1 muffless salmon faverolles mix.) The Tolbunt Polish egg that had pipped had to be assisted but then died after a while. :hmm So we are wanting to order more Tolbunt Polish hatching eggs soon.

Oh they are so adorable!!! Cute names and beautiful colors!
I'm so sorry one didn't make it but that's a pretty good hatch!

This is probably not the place because I know there's a breed section but because some people have thought she may be a Cochin mix I thought I'd ask here. Any thoughts if she is? She's 13 weeks old and has a good amount of blue feathers.

Yeah, she looks part Cochin, but definitely not full with that little crest. She's pretty cute, too! :love

Right?!
Lil Coco and China were practically glued to me yesterday! They just kept coming and jumping up on me....I LUVED it!!!
Every time I get a new breed I am always blown away at how friendly and adorable they are!
First the Silkies....then the Satins were even MORE friendly and gorgeous! Then I got the d'uccles....OMGeeze those are some insane lil birdies!!! Definitely don't act like chickens! They have calmed down quite a bit and one is really friendly n luvs lap sits still!
But then the lil Cochins came along and....I'm in luv!!!

Guess Coco gets to stay a while!! Lol
