We supervise free ranging so they dont get far without me knowing. We have to may predators near us to allow them full freedom. And I know all their hiding spots.
mine in the summer free range all day. They go all over the farm and have several spots they can hide from predators. I’ve not had a broody hide eggs yet. They prefer the favorite nest box lol

Oh its not my broodies hiding eggs. It's the ones that run around an cry for an hour before they decide to lay an egg. I think they think their funnyman

Oh lol I have a few drama queens here. They scream all day long. Every time someone lays a egg they scream. If they go into the coop and look in the nest boxes they scream. About drives me nuts!
