The blu-kote isn't working on my chick???

My 1 week old chick got masking tape stuck to her so I used oil to take it off, but when the tape was still on, some got stuck to her body feathers and she pecked at it. After I got it off I saw she had a bad pecking wound, so I put some blu-kote on it. When I did this the others stopped pecking her, but she is still pecking herself. I don't know what to do. Thank you in advance!

It is okay now. It turns out there a little tape on her body feathers. I removed it and not she seems fine. Thank you though!
