So adorable, but still watch closely it only takes a minute for something to happen and drakes can be unpredictable.
They are probably a bit to young, usually around 4-5 weeks girls begin to quack real loud that will give them away. I bet they are growing fast.Anyway to sex them? I don't mean accurately sex them bc I know that's hard. But anything I can look for so I can say they MIGHT be male or female? I'm dying to know what they are now lol

They are growing like weeds esp the black n yellow one. And they know to run to the door and beg for food for when someone is outside lol
Aww that's so sweet. They learn by example mine are the same way, they know the green coffee can means meal worms and gather around the building waiting to see if I'm going to come out with it. They are so much fun. Enjoy them and don't forget pics.![]()
They may do okay with the big pool as long as they have a way out, getting tired out is when things can go wrong. and make sure what ever you decide to use to help them get out they can't get caught under especially if one of the adults was standing on top of it. Some use bricks or blocks at the edge for them to climb onto and out, outside same way. I had a small cat litter tray set up for mom and 4 ducklings with a short ramp for inside and never thought this could happen one got caught under neathe and drowned, all I can think of is mom was standing on top and it penned the duckling under where it couldn't get it's head above water, broke my heart. it's amazing how high these lil things can jump. lol I'm sure they can swim well so maybe try filling the small one with ramp and see how they do with that for a few days before moving to bigger and better. again making sure they will be safe. When do you think I can put out the big/deeper pool, I know the adults miss it. Right now I just got the other one out with just couple inches of water. I was wanting to put the big pool out too without a ramp, but I've seen the babies hop pretty high so not having a ramp doesn't mean they CANT get in it. Or would they be fine in the bigger pool with a ramp? Or just keep the small pool out for now? Just not sure how well the babies swim in deeper water since I never had a mixed flock of different ages. Thinking most ducks live on lakes so it would be fine but still lol
