I need some ideas for the rabbit run. I'm not sure what type of enrichment and things I should provide in there.
The inside will have tunnels, teepees, boxes, and hidey houses. And the run will have a roof so things won't get really wet or anything.
And should I use grass or have a more solid surface?

I throw my buns paper towel or toilet paper rolls. They don't eat the cardboard and they like to chew on them or throw them around. I also have a few plastic toys they throw around from time to time; their favorite is actually an old bowl lol. One of their favorite things, too, are grass mats that are safe to chew/eat, they rip those up at an astonishing speed. 😅 In fact we're long overdue for a new order of those aha. Some people give them blocks of wood to chew on too. Rabbits can also have things like apple branches, I believe rose branches? and other natural things to chew on/eat. Another thing mine like is that I put a tile in the hutch for them to lay on, and it stays cool for them (provided it is out of the direct sun for long periods of time). In the summer it's great to have as many things to cool them down as possible.

If on the ground, I think grass would be fine, or even dirt. Maybe others who have their rabbits on the ground can chime in on what they like to do. With both, though, you'll have to make sure they can't dig under the run. With my rabbit run, I just have them on dirt or whatever weeds (that are safe) will grow, and they pick a spot for their 'bathroom' and I rake up the poop daily whenever it builds up. It's super easy and they looove to dig.

Niven loves foraging activities/ toys. She has a big “foraging box” full of hay, pine ones, cardboard rings, old toys etc. that I sprinkle pellets and dried herbs and flowers in so she can hunt for them. She also has a set of stacking cups she loves, and I am making her a snuffle mat. Toys that I can hide a treat in are also fun. Oh and sticks. She loves chewing on sticks.

I'm thinking I'm going to build something like this for them to play on in their run.

But maybe more of a natural look? I don't know, feel free to leave some ideas for the design. I also want to make it pretty big too

That looks so cool! Maybe you could put in some tunnels? Chili loves his little tunnel.
