@Skye'sDucks I opened him on the terrace for about 30 mins tryna bond with him but he was not interested in me and afraid of me outside the cage inside he's fine and lets me touch him and take from my hand but outside its completely opposite. He didn't poop or pee anywhere just explored and hopped around. I haven't seen any poop from him and I only see pee when I go to him in the morning.

We are new rabbit owners and have had our 4 for a little over a month....can someone tell me what’s going on with her ears, one is staying down the other the tip folded over? I checked her over for mites and her ear look very clean but is it an inner ear infection maybe? What can I do to help her?

How old is she? Most likely the ears are just working out their kinks. I have had rabbits with broken ear carriages, but that’s not common. My current bun had his ear tips curled over and I was getting very worried but they straightened up over a couple of weeks.

She’s maybe 2-3 months old.

My rabbit, Tiny Tim is like this (though not as bad). It's not actually that rare - sometimes an ear just doesn't develop properly. It can be genetic or environmental (extreme heat as a kit can cause it sometimes) and it's how many many years ago we started breeding lops. It's not a good trait to have persay and I wouldn't breed this rabbit unless you had a strong reason for breeding them into your line like I do with my Tiny Tim, but it's not dangerous.

Time to drive 1.5 hours away then back again for a rabbit. The things we're willing to do for a curvy lady amirite?

That's good he didn't go to the bathroom! I was much younger when we had our rabbits indoors, so my mom did the litter training, and by the time I fully was taking care of them by myself my buns were outside, so I can't offer litter training tips, I'm sorry. I think the best thing you can do is keep up what you are doing--when he finally poos, put the poop in there, and as he is peeing put the tissues in there so he smells it. I know that one tip is usually what people do.

His name is adorable though! That's a great name.

That's good he's being normal, too. Any poop since your last posts? Personally I think you are doing fine with his diet--rabbits need fiber so unless you feed him a TON of treats with lots of fiber in them, there should be no reason for him to get a fiber overdose! They need plenty of good fiber for their guts to work properly, anyways. Lack of fiber and roughage moving through their systems can cause issues, which is why it's important for them to be getting plenty of hay and/or greenery.

I imagine it may take Bugs a while to get used to you. I'm sure he'll warm up in no time though and you two will be close buddies! I know my lionhead, who I've had for years, can still be distant from me. When I let him run around either outside in a pen or inside, he rarely wants me petting him or even really interacting with him--he's very active and just isn't as cuddly. But he also has his sweet side, so some rabbits just have a variety of personalities! And treats help too.

Finally found some poop in his cage.

I love Bunny poop. The only reason why I started keeping animals was so I could compost. Bunny poop can even go straight into the garden without having to compost. Should be a bonus if you must grow his grass to give him/her feed.

I took some rabbit pictures. Not much to say about my rabbits I have everything set up until I breed them come winter.

The first Rabbit Picture, not exactly mine but he lives in my backyard. Mostly because I have a very natural lawn so its an all you can eat buffet for wild rabbits. They do not even go into the garden because the yard itself is full of rabbit food.

Rex Rabbits! Male in the cage female in the pen that the cage is in. They might start breeding through the cage but I am going to breed them eventually so I am not too worried about it but I do wish they would wait for full sexual maturity.

Colors reversed in the 2nd pen. Those white spots are calcium from dried rabbit urine. that means he is peeing on the concrete pavers in the cage and its splattering. Hopefully he learns to use the gutter I created in the cage. My castor male and female are brother and sister, my white rabbits are also brother and sister. Otherwise I would be breeding the same colors together.

She is eating an Okra Leaf, she seems to be the only rabbit who likes Okra Leaves.
