As many of you know, I swear by my Moultrie 4.0 IR game cam in the chicken coop area to monitor predators. Over the past two years, my camera has taken some really awesome shots of our local wildlife! Many folks have expressed interest in game cams and have asked me about my game cam along with the quality of the shots it takes.

I know many others utilize game cams as well. So, I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread devoted to folks' most interesting game cam shots. I think it would also be a good idea to list the make and model as well as any additional commentary on the positives/negatives associated with each model. Of course when all is said and done, I think folks will enjoy the little slice of wildlife captured in this thread.

Here are a few of our past shots to get the ball rolling!

Crow in mid-flight:

Deer are frequent visitors:

Also, wild turkeys who peacefully coexist with our flock:

I have a Moultrie as well. I have posted some of these before...we have thousands of deer pictures over the years. We have owned Moultries over the years and have always had good luck with them. Battery life is around 6 weeks give or take, and one of them we have hooked up to solar. I have nothing bad to say about ours ... always fun to go get the card and see what surprises there are on it.

Cool! I Can't wait to see what wildlife is showing up in people's backyards. I may have to invest in a game cam of my own someday.

Cool photos, maybe it'll catch what crashes through the underbrush here, AND tag the person breaking into cars!! I think we need two, one for the driveway, one for the field next door on the tree line.
