The girls and two guys were getting crowded and asking for a bigger apartment.

So I gathered the gals and two guys in a dog carrier. It was a tight fit but the trip was only a few hundred feet.

They ride in the orange taxi.

The new home is ready.

The girls and two guys arrive and Joe Dirt and his two wives arrive to inspect.

The Poop-a-Lot gang get right down to business and start eating.

So...Cardboard Corral is empty and taken apart to be recycled.

Many thanks to Rubi who graciously donated her garage.

I'm rather sad to have the girls and two guys leave home. I'll miss the entertainment but I'm sure I'll enjoy watching them navigate their new coop!

Thanks for looking!

Awww, I loved that Cardboard Corral... Now you MUST put cardboard in their new coop so it can still be the Cardboard Corral!

Thanks! I was really surprised the Cardboard Corral held up so well. And many thanks to the poster who mentioned they used a tarp as flooring, and simply rolled it and the debris up when cleaning was needed. Worked really well.

I am always saddened when a batch o' chicks move out to their new digs.

Stories of your Cardboard Corral have been so enjoyable - hopefully there will be more tales of the youngsters, soon!

I feel like a bad mom. I let my ee chicks out at 3 weeks (they were overcrowding) and they free roam my front yard with some 8 week olds. Well they are now 5 weeks. I bring them in at night and during bad weather
