Also-- the whole reason I went down there, a whole 2 hour drive, was to do a rooster swap, ie give her Jamie and take home Chesterton.
Well, I pull Jamie out of the carrier, she takes one look and says "Oh honey, I can't take that, that's a girl!"

So Jamie-- or perhaps Zoe?!-- came home with me.
As well as 3 more blue polish!!

Chesterton is a geat name for a rooster and he is a beauty. Not a bad trip 2 hours 4 chickens. Not bad at all.

Technically, 4 hours (2 there, 2 back) and FIVE chickens, since I planned to leave Jamie/Zoe, and did not!
I ended up naming the Lakeshore Egger Nyssa, and the new arrivals are Polly, Gwyneth, and Dodo II.
I don't usually reuse a name so soon (it's bad luck!!) but I do so want a little polish Dodo.
