I like an alpha hen like Susan. Daisy was like that. Not a lot of pecking, just when #2 was getting out of hand. They are the best. Right now my alpha hen (Patsy) is my former #2 and she is mean. Beats on everyone and tries to hog all the food. Not good and Jabber has not reigned her in.

I have a terrible bossy hen like that!! She LOVES me... But is such a jerk to other chickens!!! My roo let's her sit there and peck his face off! :barnie

My new chicks are set to aarrive next week, and there are already problems! They are anticipating a poor hatch, and my silver laced polish will not be coming. :hit

I am so disappointed! I so wanted those spiky floof heads.
