The Cluck 'n Quack: Stories of our birds

Maybe try getting rid of the ones you like least? I am sure there has ti be something cheaper. Try Craiglist?
I agree with the white elephant, I think that you should be able to find someone selling poultry locally so you don’t have to ship. Our TSC has chickens all year round that you can order on the website, I don’t know how that works exactly but you can probably pick them up at the store. Also, are you opposed to hatching? There are usually plenty of people selling hatching eggs (although they may be harder to find in the winter). Have you researched local breeders that might have chicks/adults? We usually find them on Craigslist.

sorry you aren’t having any luck with hatcheries, shipping prices have gone through the roof.

Thank you for the advice. I’ll just get whatever TSC has.

I checked out TSC’s website and they have everything you want! Even Salmon Faverolles!

Wow, sorry, I had no idea shipping costs so much. But I guess if they're using Priority Mail Express for live animals it makes sense.

I've read there is a corn shortage and prices of chicken feed might go way up, so I'm not sure I'm going to get chicks this year. :(
