This is their second winter, I believe. Not sure exactly when we got them…

Ah, okay. I was just curious when hens start to really slow down their laying. My two 5-year-old hens are still laying this winter, but I don't think my older (6+ year) hens have started up again yet.

Okay, I just looked it up - looks like 6-7 years is when they really slow down.

Man, time flies...I can't believe I've had my chickens that long!

I met the parents (they’re really sweet, especially the male), and all the pups. Dad looked like he wanted to get one and I doubt mom’s going to be opposed to it so we’ll see!
