Really? My polish cockerel was the meanest rooster I’ve ever had! He was pretty, but he was a huge jerk!

The only roosters that have been nice enough for us to keep are mixes and EEs.

Mine almost died when my dog attacked his hens. She was beating my leghorn to a pulp and he wouldn't stop getting between them.
He wouldn't mess with me tho.

Tie his do up. Mine was totally aware of what was happening and he was really the only roo who could properly protect his ladies from harm.

My mixes have always been total idiots. And there were a few that were just plain mean.

We had two mixes (Tuna and Blue), and they were both nice to people, but Tuna was a jerk to Blue, so we got rid of him. We have Blue still, and he is a month away from being a year old. We then got 6 mixes/EEs, and they were ALL sweeties to people. We only kept Gus from those because of his special needs stuff. We are probably going to have to get rid of Gus and keep Blue though. Blue is a big bully to him.
