Before my Spitz I despised crested birds. I got the Spitz because of their hardiness, now I don't mind a crest. And I adore my Pyncheon Bantams!

There's just something I don't like about them but I can't put my finger on what....


Oh I know now. I don't like those long, lean, skin-and-bones chickens that look like they'd blow right over in the slightest breeze. Long legs, long necks, and all. They might as well be plucked! Give me a big round fluffy chicken any day over that long goose-necked pigeon.
