Announcement The Coop Page / Article Rating & Review Project!

Pics
I just got a like for a review on a coop from the author. It is an example of how the system is working. The Author read the review and is going to add the drawings for the coop build!

Just one way that we are making the articles better with this project

Brilliant!!!

This one was never gone though.

It makes me sad to see someone that went to a lot of work making good coop article and then left. One of them had only 45 posts. I hope we as greeters can get more of them to stay!

I look at who's coop it is and 98% haven't been on BYC for sometime. But most of them seem to be from 2012. Was that a good year for coop building?

Well then, that explains why I'm dreaming of chicken coops?

In 2012 we converted from a very clunky articles system (it was pretty bad) to a new system... but in the process all the old articles were imported with the "creation date" of the day they were created.

The pre-2012 system also didn't have any ratings / reviews.

EXACTLY!!!

I was just looking through a few new-member-introductions and was so impressed and proud of our community (and AWESOME greeters) and how welcoming they are!

First-impressions make a HUGE difference, and feeling a connection to peeps in a community creates a much more "sticky" user experience.

So, @ronott1 and our other amazing Greeters... to you I say: :bow :thumbsup
