Before they got in range of the swords, the leader of the pair shot a jet blue ball of flames towards the outpost. It smacked hard into the stone and exploded, leaving a dent in the stone. The pair flared their wings and rocketed in a tight circle, speeding back up into the clouds.

After hearing the war cry from the village, several mages had appeared. With one large jump they hopped onto the top of the outpost viewing area with the others and began to cast a spell, orbs of purple and green flames coming up from their hands. In unison, they shot at the closest dragon.

"Bank right!" Viper, Maverick's wingman, shouted as he spotted the flames headed in their direction. Maverick pulled his left wingtip up, banking hard right with Viper right on his tail. The flames shot by, missing them by inches.

Quick as a cat, she leapt into the cover of the trees, and out of the way. Once there, she drew the knived from her arm greaves.

Gavin flared his wings and stopped just in time, swooping over the tree tops. As he did, however, he shot a red ball of flames at the trees, lighting them on fire.

Maverick shuddered slightly in the air as he was hit. Viper, being behind Maverick, got the worst of the blow and he was knocked out of the air. "Viper's hit!" Maverick shouted, diving down to his partner who was struggling to keep airborn. He wrapped his claws around Viper and carried him higher and out of sight.

Another pair of Dragons swooped down, the air seemed full of them as they swooped and dove throught the clouds.

One of the mages shot an orb of water from her hands and onto the nearest dragon's wings, the liquid freezing not too long after due to the cold temperatures of the land. "Good shot, Leonne," said Marc as he patiently waited in battle stance for the dragons to come closer.

She sprinted away from the fire, leaping over fallen logs and branches as she went like they were nothing.

A smaller Dragon decended from the sky, chasing Salina through the forest.

The movement of the Dragon's wings broke the ice and it flew off behind him. "Cover me Snake" The Dragons, whos name happened to be Ice, shouted. Going into a steep dive, he shot another blue ball, shattering more of the stone and rocking the outpost.

Around them, other pairs dove, bombarding the outpost with balls of the blue flame and causing stones to crack and break off.
