A long, thick bodied black snake curled around the branches of an old oak tree. Although it had been dead for years, the tree's massive roots held it bound to the earth. It's bark had long since blackened and begun to rot. It stood ominously among the other trees, taller an older than any other. They say that the tree hides an abandoned witch's den. Some claim to have seen a giant, horrific black snake there. Some never returned to say another word. The snake's beady black eyes took watch on the scene below. It's long, black forked tongue slid from his mouth, emitting a barely audible hiss.
