"Right this way," he beckoned with a gentle swaying gesture of his hand for her to follow him as he started for the Leader's cave. A small troop of soldiers consisting of Selene, Casper, and Theron followed to ensure she wasn't to try any funny stuff.

Phoenix rolled her eyes at the band of soldiers following her "Honestly, if I wanted to kill your leader, I wouldn't have announced myself to your entire Tribe" She snorted.

Brent glanced back at her and a smile riddled the edge of his beak, but as he stared forward once more he said nothing and advanced onward. Selene jabbed Theron in the ribs and whispered into his ear, "You two will be best friends." Theron muttered something quietly under his breath.

At last, they came to a cave that wasn't very deep into the mountain that had a large hut inside. "Adonis, sir; you have a guest." Brent called out, to which Adonis promptly replied, "Bring them in." Brent dipped his head to Phoenix and stepped aside.

Phoenix stepped into the den, ignoring Brent's nod, and stood in front of Adonis. "My name is Phoenix, where I am from or what I am doing here is not your business so don't bother asking." She stated clearly before Adonis had a chance to speak.

"Well then!" Adonis chuckled and crossed his hands on his lap as he finished his dinner. "If you have no business here, then I believe our conversation is ended. Have a nice evening, madam." he said with a half-smirk. "All joking aside, surely there is some reason you came all this way...?"

"No" She replied sharply "I simply wish to join your Tribe"

"Of course," Adonis leaned forward and tapped his claws together, "I respect that there might be some..." he furrowed a brow slightly, "...Secrets about your past that you may want to keep. But, unfortunately... you're going to have to spare me some details if you really want to join. Your strengths, your desired rank - and things of that like."

"Ah," he replied, nodding subtly. "Soldier it is then. Tomorrow morning, you will be tested - be ready. For now, you can go get some rest. If you'd like someone to show you around to the huts and caves I can arrange for that now, or you can simply roost in the trees."
