Gustave then aimed and shot an arrow from his bow, having it sink into the front of his neck and stab at his throat.

McKinnon growled through his teeth as the blood dripped onto the snow, his tail twitching in the snow behind him.

(I won't.

Do you mind if I knock him out though?)

For the finishing touch, Charlot dug around in a pouch and got out a slingshot he had finally finished widdling out of a log the other day, and shot a large rock at McKinnon. Swiftly, it slammed against the beast's head and left a painful, bleeding bruise before his world went dark. "Good work, men. I'll go grab a team of horses and Marc, while you can go fetch a medic for Dion, Charlot. And Gustave, you watch the dragon," said Ulrich. He quickly sped off to the village. In not too long, Charlot came back with help for Dion, who took him away to the medical house on a covered horse-drawn sled. Over the hill came a team of several large draft stallions, driven by Marc and Ulrich. Among them was a mass of rope. Marc ordered the two hunters to tie McKinnon down, which they did as tightly as possible without strangling him. Very carefully, they hitched the roped beast to the team of horses who slowly pulled him up the hill and into the edge of the village. They went up the winding route to the castle and came into a secret entrance, that blended perfectly into the stone walls and lead them into the hallway of a dungeon. At first they barely managed to squeeze through the dank candle-lit hallway, until it widened and unveiled a long stretch of prison cells. The group turned, and walked down to a specially crafted large cell at the edge.

As they entered the castle, McKinnon began to regain conciousness. His eyes opened slightly and began to take in his surroundings. At the same time he realized that he was tied up and began to thrash against that ropes that held him, growling slightly at the same time.

(Okay.

Charlot hit him in the head with a rock from the slingshot again, hoping it would cause him to doze a little bit. They then dropped him off in the dark, giant corner stall, bedded in scratchy straw and built sturdily. Marc shut the door quickly on him and locked it tight, leaving him bound up to the strong ropes. After several long minutes, footsteps could be heard coming down the hall...

The rock more bounced off his head instead of causing any major damage, only making him angrier. He growled at the approaching footsteps as ice crystals formed on the dungeon walls.

He groaned slightly, and covered his face with his palm whilst shaking his head. Oh great, another quick mouthed one... "That's not what I meant," said the elder mage, still fairly patient-toned. "Why were you found spying on us?"
