BTW Pingu is a Pekin Bantam even though she looks weirdly similar to Mama, and Chipmunk is a Welsummer.

The first hen I ever adobted (and fell in love with) was Greta, a 16 year old black hen with that orange ruffle just like Rounge. I only had her for about 4 months and cried for days when she passed quite peacefully in my arms one night. A most remarkable chicken and I have been looking for more of her breed but didn't really know what that was. Your Rounge is a beautiful and good Momma. Thanks for the info.
