Today, Pingu and Chipmunk are getting more independant every day and they are slowly distancing from Mama. The liitle chickies meet the rabbits for the first time
they were just standing there and staring at them jumping, hopping for a long time. The Rabbits do tend to show off thier hopping and jumping skills every time a chickens come past. Funny litttle things!
I have decided to merge Mama and her little ones into the main flocks coop they have been in the same run with them but Pingu and Chipmunk were'nt and screamed "BWWWAAAAAKKKK!!!!" in protest of the move and they could'nt find Mama, they were getting very upset.
Barry was happily chuckling away and welcoming them with a romantic dance but the others remained firmly in their places so their was no room for Mamma, Pingu and Chipmunk. So I put in another perch and they happily settled together quietly. I had to move them into the flock coop because they were simply getting to big for the tiny little house and I hated seeing them sitting on a mixture of sawdust and poop, that can't be comfortable at thier age. I need to encourage what they natually should be doing which is PERCHING. Lets hope the flock gets on well with them in the morning
